Parkinson’s Victoria reaps the rewards of Ritchies’ Community Benefit Card Program
Mar. 08, 2018
And you can help raise funds too!
Parkinson’s Victoria has been a regular beneficiary of independent supermarket chain Ritchies innovative Community Benefit Card program for some years now.
In fact the program has generated nearly $27,000 for Parkinson’s Victoria over the past 20 years!
The way it works is via a special ‘smart’ Community Benefit card that is available free from checkouts at any Ritchies supermarket or IGA Liquor store in Victoria.
When you collect your card, you simply nominate your chosen charity organisation – in our case Parkinson’s Victoria – and the smart card does the rest whenever you swipe it at the checkout, directing funds from Ritchies' Community Benefit Card program straight to Parkinson’s Victoria to provide health advice, education, news and research opportunities to the Parkinson’s community of Victoria.
You or your family and friends can join the program anytime, even today! In fact, the more people you encourage to join, the more support we can offer Parkinson’s Victoria.
Ask the friendly staff at any Ritchies supermarket or IGA liquor store and they’ll do the rest.
Thank you, Ritchies, for more than 20 years of helping the Victorian Parkinson’s community!
