Research on Cognition in Parkinson’s

Jun. 08, 2018

Parkinson's is usually considered a disorder of movement, but many patients also suffer from problems with thinking and motivation.

The Monash Institute of Cognitive and Clinical Neurosciences (MICCN) conducts research into the difficulties with cognition and motivation commonly faced by individuals with Parkinson's. Their goal is to better understand the brain processes that lead to these problems, in order to develop better treatments for them in the future.

Yo are invited to volunteer for this research project. It will involve 1-2 hours of your time, during which researchers will ask you to complete simple tasks on a computer.  You do not need to be experiencing any problems with your thinking or motivation to be eligible.
