The idea of fundraising a set target might seem daunting, but you'll get loads of professional support every step of the way.

You’ll be surprised how supportive people will be for a genuine cause, and your enthusiasm and a little planning will go a long way.

We recommend participants have a good plan of action and allow approximately  6 to 8 months to reach their fundraising target.

However, this is a variable timeframe, entirely dependant on the individual participant, their fundraising program and the generosity of their supporters!

Are Donations Tax deductable?

All donations of $2 and more are tax deductible. The conditions for a donation are that it must be made voluntarily and does not provide benefits to the donor.

For an amount to be considered a donation it is assumed at all times that the donor is not the same person as the participant.

Entry to an event, buying of a product or money spent to purchase raffle tickets are not tax deductible.

For example, paying for entry to a film night or to a trivial pursuit night is not considered a donation as something has been “received in return".

Once you have registered, you will be sent a Welcome pack to get you started. Then, approximately one week later, Memorable Challenges will contact you to make sure you received your kit and to answer any questions. This is also the perfect time to arrange a get together with Memorable Challenges to discuss your fundraising plan, ideas and timeline in detail.

Memorable Challenges will be in regular contact providing guidance, assistance and coaching– and they are always just a phone call or email away if you have questions.

Using their years of experience coordinating a range of different fundraising activities, they will be able to assist you with tools to track your progress and activity planning.

Many Challengers raise far above their minimum target.
