Provide support to people with Parkinson’s

Living with Parkinson’s is a personal experience that no one should face alone. Support and information can make a positive difference to those living with Parkinson's, their families and carers.

Yet with 27,000 people living with Parkinson’s in Victoria, there is limited access to specialised support services for Parkinson’s. That’s why we need your help to raise $50,000 by 15 January to provide people with Parkinson’s support from our multi-disciplinary health team in 2016.

Leader of the Ballarat Parkinson’s Peer Support Group for more than 10 years and primary carer for her husband Jonathan, Elaine encourages her group to actively manage their symptoms and to contact Fight Parkinson’s multi-disciplinary health team for support and advice.

It’s our security blanket,” says Elaine. “I make sure everyone has the number.

You can ensure people living with Parkinson’s have access to support from our multi-disciplinary health team in 2016. Please donate today.
