General advice on personal alarms
Personal monitoring and emergency response services respond to calls for assistance 24 hrs a day. These services can enhance your confidence to help you continue living independently at home.

An emergency call can be made simply by pressing a button on a pendant, which in turn, activates a central home receiver unit connected to the phone line. You can choose either public or private providers of these services. A variety of available systems are displayed at the Independent Living Centre External site link (ILC).

What subsidised programs are available?

Personal Alert Victoria (PAV) External site link

The program is administered by Mt Eliza Personal Response Service (MEPACS) and Safety Link Personal Response Service. Language interpreting is available.
