Your local council can help connect you to a range of services available in your region.
Community Information Centres (also known as Citizen’s Advisory Bureaus), are located across Victoria. Their core work is to provide information to the community. Depending on the region, additional services may include: accommodation and tenancy advice, budget advice, counselling, social workers, emergency relief, legal advice, no interest loans, tax help.
Community Service Organisations
Community service organisations provide a range of support services and programs. Examples of different support organisations include: Anglicare, Uniting Care, Salvation Army and Wesley Mission.
