The
Ambassador Program incorporates trained volunteers who make
themselves available to speak to community, corporate and
service organisations about Parkinson’s and the impact
it has on them personally.
Ambassadors are members of Parkinson’s Victoria who
enthusiastically volunteer their time to inform and educate
the community about Parkinson’s.
Presentations can be adapted to suit your agenda and timetable.
A presentation is usually 30 to 40 minutes, including question
time, and normally covers the Ambassador’s personal
experience with Parkinson’s, its original diagnosis,
treatment, impact on family, friends and employment, and
prospects for the future.
In presenting their personal journey, Ambassadors will inform,
educate and inspire you.
Questions are welcome.
Ambassadors are available to present to your group at a
time and venue of your choosing.
