Free therapeutic dance classes for fun physical activity
Exercise is a very important part of helping to manage the symptoms of Parkinson’s, and dancing is a fun way to do it!
A trial of free, therapeutic dance classes is running in Melbourne from 1st August to the 19th September. Taking place on Saturdays, this trial will form part of a larger research project into the benefits of dance for people living with Parkinson's.
No experience is required - just a willingness to get involved!

There are also two ongoing 'Dance for PD' groups currently running in Camberwell and Torquay.
'Dance for PD' is modelled after the Dance for PD program developed by the Mark Morris Dance Group and the Brooklyn Parkinson Group.
