Donate today to support your community

Parkinson’s Victoria needs your help more than ever as government funding for our Health Information Line is not keeping pace with the growing demand on services.
We need your support in order to continue providing these vital services to Victoria’s Parkinson’s community. Your support will provide help for today and hope for tomorrow.
When Christine Anderson reached out to us, it was her first step in a fresh direction on her Parkinson’s journey. A journey she’s taken on with inspiring positivity.
Diagnosed in 2012, Christine could have been dismayed by her diagnosis after witnessing her father’s Parkinson’s journey some years previously. Instead, she made a conscious choice to participate proactively in the management of her own health and wellbeing.
She credits her positivity to her sense of humour, her deep involvement in her local community, her family’s support, to staying informed and to seeking help when she needed it from Parkinson’s Victoria.
Parkinson’s Victoria’s Health Information team received more than 4600 calls for assistance last year and provided face-to-face education to nearly 6000 people attending community and professional seminars and peer support group meetings. These numbers are only set to increase, with an aging population and thousands more Victorians diagnosed every year.
As a not-for-profit organisation, Parkinson’s Victoria relies heavily on donations from the public to help us deliver these vital services.
Your donation will help people living with Parkinson’s, people like Christine, live their best possible life now and into the future.
Every dollar counts. Donations over $2 are tax deductible. Please donate by Sunday 30 June to support your community.
