Nov. 02, 2017
Bookings now open for our next Recently Diagnosed Seminar
Being diagnosed with Parkinson’s is confronting, not just for the person diagnosed but for their family and close friends.
This seminar provides an opportunity to learn more about living with Parkinson's from healthcare professionals, to have your questions answered and meet others facing the same day-to-day challenges.
Family and friends are welcome to attend.
The next seminar is:
Date: Tuesday 5th December 2017
Location: Parkinson’s Victoria, 587 Canterbury Road, Surrey Hills
Cost: Admission of just $30 also includes a year’s membership to Parkinson’s Victoria as well as the option to bring a guest for free.
Health Team Manager and Consultant Nurse for Parkinson’s Victoria Victor McConvey (pictured above) strongly recommends both newly diagnosed and their loved ones attend the session.
“Previous attendees are outspoken in their praise for the seminars” he said.
“It’s not just the information about managing Parkinson’s that is invaluable about the seminar. Attendees have valued the opportunity to both meet others with Parkinson’s and ask questions they may not ordinarily get the opportunity to”.
“It really is a ‘must-attend’ for anyone new to the condition”.
