Parkinson’s is not a condition commonly associated with needing to be hospitalised. However, people with Parkinson’s may need to be admitted to hospital or respite care at some point, whether in relation to their condition or for another medical reason.

There is a large variety of mobility equipment and disability aids for everyday living available to help people with Parkinson's. Mobility and disability aids can help people to maintain independence in the activities that are most important to them.
