A Walk in the Park is the largest community event dedicated to supporting people with Parkinson's to lead full and active lives.
This year, A Walk in the Park celebrates its 10th anniversary. Together we’ll support, celebrate and acknowledge those who walk tall with Parkinson’s.
Gathering together family, friends and work colleagues to form a team is a great way to show your united support for people living with Parkinson’s. Participants will take a leisurely, non-competitive 2km or 4km walk on our mobility-friendly course from Federation Square, down St Kilda Rd and through the Kings Domain, before finishing back at Fed Square.
The pre-walk entertainment kicks off at 9:30am including a warm-up, live music, massages, kid-friendly activities and a traditional sausage sizzle.
The walk kicks of at 11am.
It’s easy to register and set-up A Walk in the Park team online, so you can support each other and fundraise together.
Every dollar raised by A Walk in the Park will help people with Parkinson’s to lead full and active lives. With your support, we will reach our 2018 goal to raise $275,000.
